BIBLE PROPHECY

Bible prophecy shows that God will soon punish the United States for its sins with a punishment so severe that, once it begins, about 90% or more of our people will die within a period of about three and a half years, and those who survive will suffer horribly.  This punishment will probably begin in the lifetimes of most people alive today.

After this punishment, Jesus Christ will return to the earth to save mankind from total destruction, to set up His government to rule the earth, to teach mankind righteousness, and to bring peace and happiness to mankind. 

God will punish our people for breaking the Ten Commandments in the letter and the spirit, for not keeping His seventh-day Sabbath and His annual festivals, and for practicing wrong religious customs such as observing Christmas and Easter and using images in worship.

Though the nation as a whole will be punished, some who repent and turn to God may be spared.  Those who repent must repent of sin.  Sin is not the violation of our conscience or what we think is wrong, but sin is the violation of God's law.  God defines right and wrong, not man, and God defines right and wrong in the Bible.  Sin is the transgression of the law of God, and we need to repent of breaking God's law and keep both the letter and the spirit of the law.  To obey God we must live by every word of God, which is the Bible.

God commands in the Ten Commandments that we keep His Sabbath day by resting and refraining from our personal recreation on the seventh day from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset.  God also commands that we observe all His annual festivals and holy days including Passover, Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles.  These annual days, which Jesus Christ and the early church observed, illustrate God's plan for all mankind.

God commands that we not use images as an aid to worshipping Him, and that we not use customs borrowed from paganism to worship Him, such as Christmas and Easter.  God does not accept that kind of worship, and in fact this type of wrong worship is one of the causes for the punishment that is coming upon us.

God wants us to learn to live by His law, which can be summarized by the one word love.  It is an outgoing concern for the welfare and happiness of others.  It is summarized by the two great commandments in the Bible, to love God with all our being and our neighbor as ourselves.

There are two ways of life, the give way and the get way.  The give way is the way of love towards God and neighbor.  The first four of the ten commandments teach us how to love God and the last six how to love our neighbor.

God's law is the way to peace and happiness, but the violation of that law brings suffering and death.  God wants us repent and learn to obey His law, and He will punish us to teach us to repent for our own good.

The sins we will be punished for include breaking all of the Ten Commandments.  They include Sabbath breaking, not keeping God's annual holy days and festivals, observing customs borrowed from paganism such as Christmas and Easter, using images in worship, lying, and loving recreation and pleasure more than God.

And though our nation will suffer severely, it will be for our ultimate good in the end.

As a nation, we do not have faith in God.  Faith is believing and trusting in what God says in the Bible.  But rather than believe what God says, as a nation we believe our traditions more than God.

Many people believe their traditions that say that God is a God of cruelty who tortures men forever in hell fire.  But that is not what the Bible teaches.  Man does not have an immortal soul, but immortality must be given to those who are saved.  The unrepentant wicked will be burned up in the lake of fire and will cease to exist forever.  No humans will suffer for eternity in hell fire.

Many people believe their traditions that the billions in history who have never had a chance to accept Christ are lost forever.  But the Bible does not teach that.  God has a plan to offer salvation to every human who has every lived, and this plan is illustrated by the annual holy days and festivals of God from the Bible, which we as a nation do not keep.

God will punish the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, and New Zealand first before punishing the world as a whole.  That is because the English speaking nations today are primarily descended from the tribe of Joseph and are part of Israel.  The Jews are also part of Israel, and they are descended from the tribe of Judah.  God will punish His own people, Israel, first, because we have broken His covenant.
